Reasons Why Supporting Some African Political Ideals Are Bad. (AKA Some things should not be multicultural)

Africa is not the most pro-gay continent on our green earth. As a matter of fact, Northern Africa and the Middle East are the two most violently homophobic places about which I've read. Normally, I would be appalled by the ignorant hate, and open violent threats, which I am. However, today's current complaint has little to do with homophobia, but with witch hunts.

Yesterday in Kenya, eleven elderly people were dragged from their homes, burned at the stake, and set their houses on fire. Why? They were accused of being witches. Honest, real witches.

Public officials denied it as a common occurrence, but did issue a statement asking the locals to not take what they believe is justice into their own hands.

Now, I am as open to other cultures as the next person, but burning witches at the stake?

Of course, G.W. has already sent Condoleezza Rice over to nicely ask Kenya to stop being violently active, but very little has happened in result. Kenya refused to comment as to whether or not it threatened to "call the US a meanie" if it did not stop interfering in international affairs.
